Dry Star Refrigerated Air Dryers:
The economically priced DryStar cools compressed air by mechanical refrigeration to a 33-39 degree F pressure dewpoint. Condensed water is removed through an automatic drain valve. Featuring low power consumption, DryStar dryers are simple to install with a quick fit electrical connection. Each DS dryer uses environmentally friendly R134A refrigerant.
Ratings are based on 100 degree F inlet air temperature and 100 psiG inlet air pressure.
Maximum inlet temperature is 140 degree F, maximum pressure is 232 psiG.

Protect your high temperature application with Ingersoll Rand's High Temperature Refrigerated dryer to eliminate moisture to Downstream equipment by preventing 100% saturated compressed air from rusting tools, and washing away lubricants with a refrigerated dryer. Ingersoll Rand's ISO class 6 refrigerated dryer can handle air flows from 7 to 212 SCFM. The dryer's heat exchanger is reliable and operationally efficient with exceptionally low pressure drop and optimized pressure dew point performance; the braised aluminum design is permanently bonded with unitized air to air, air refrigerant plat heat exchangers and intergral stainless steel moisture separation. All models are equipped with an electronic solenoid drain valve for optimal performance. A temperature driven variable speed fan further ensures continuous heat removal for continuous pressure dew point performance. The dryer's simple controls mean user-friendly operation. The Ingersoll Rand high temperature refrigerated dryer provides the reliable and environmentally sound solution for dry compressed air.

ThermoStar Refrigerated Air Dryers:
ThermoStar refrigerated air dryers (100-3000 cfm) cool compressed air by mechanical refrigeration to a 33-39 degree F pressure dewpoint. Condensed water is removed through a timed solenoid automatic drain valve. A precooler maximizes the refrigeration efficiency, and a compact heat exchanger insures the smallest possible footprint. Each TS dryer uses environmentally friendly R407C refrigerant and features a standard controller with on/off main switch (separate power on line and alarm lamps), and electric drain valve with adjustable operation set points. Ratings are based on 100 degree F inlet air temperature and 100 psiG inlet air pressure. Maximum inlet temperature is 122 degree F; maximum pressure is 175 psiG.

Thermal Mass dryers use a simple refrigeration system to cool a liquid solution that in turn cools the compressed air, removing harmful moisture from your air stream. This method allows the refrigeration compressor to shut down during periods of low flow, resulting in reduced power costs when compared to other designs. This cycling refrigerated dryer provides the greatest energy savings as compared to all other refrigeration dryer technology. This design has the lowest operating kW, the lowest pressure drop and cycles off in periods of low demand. |
